There are 2 types of matcha- koicha and usucha.

The pure dried leaves (tencha) are then stone ground into a super fine powder that is the consistency of talc. Matcha is uniquely Japanese.

High grade gyokuro from Uji. Netto Gyokuro has a wonderful naturally sweet aroma and a crisp flourish.

They are available in health food store, or Japanese store.
