I have heard you can buy green tea capsules to help lose weight by raising the metabolic rate. I would prefer to just drink the tea.
What are the health benefits of green tea and do other herbal teas have the same effect. Also is it actually going to work or shallI just stick to my normal (maybe excessive) tea drinking habits

I like the health benefits of green tea, but I’ve never really liked the taste of tea. I’m willing to try it again though, but I’d like to know a brand of green tea that is a good one that you think non-tea lovers will enjoy.

So I’ve bought some Jade Sword green tea from Jing Tea: http://jingtea.com/tea/green-tea/organic-jade-sword-green-tea-mao-jian, now this might just be me being paranoid but does this tea still contain of all of the natural antioxidants and benefits of green tea. I only ask this because there are so many different types of green tea I want to make sure this type will still benefit me? Also on the back of the packet it says to leave to infuse for 3 minutes. Well how can I randomly leave tea leaves in a tea pot for 3 minutes and then take them out again? That makes no sense/ So whilst I’m drinking my first cup its still infusing. Is this good or will it mean there will be more caffeine in the next cup I have. Any answers will help thank you.

I keep seeing the health benefits of green tea.
I believe most of these studies are done in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, where green tea is prevelent.
However, I mostly drink black tea.
How does the fermentation of tea affect the antioxidant levels, and other phytochemicals?
